School Meals

If you would like your child to have hot meals at lunchtime, Hampshire Catering Service offer a choice of dishes, with the menus displayed in advance. Healthy options are available, and during the summer term the "Lunch Bags" have proved very popular. The cost of a meal is £2.00, or £10.00 weekly. We ask that you send in the money for the whole week on a Monday. Where parents prefer, children may bring a packed lunch of their choice. Extra puddings may be bought by all children, whether they have chosen to eat school dinners or to bring in a packed lunch. All our school meals are eaten in the hall or, weather allowing, in the school grounds as a picnic.

Parents are welcome to come in and sample a school lunch. If you are interested, please contact the school office first thing in the morning. The children are always under the care of the Dinner Supervisory Assistants. If written parental permission is given, pupils are allowed to walk home for lunch alone.

Children and staff have a right to enjoy a safe lunchtime. We expect our school code of conduct to be followed at all times.

If you think your child may be entitled to free school dinners, please contact us. The form needed can be collected and returned to the school office. We are very happy to help you complete it.
